GROUP 1
Could you be loved and be loved?
Don't let them fool ya
Or even try to school ya
Oh, no
We've got a mind of our own
So go to hell if what you're thinking is not right
Love would never leave us alone
A-yin the darkness there must come out to light
Or even try to school ya
Oh, no
We've got a mind of our own
So go to hell if what you're thinking is not right
Love would never leave us alone
A-yin the darkness there must come out to light
Could you be loved and be loved?
Could you be loved, wo now! and be loved?
Could you be loved, wo now! and be loved?
(The road of life is rocky and you may stumble too
So while you point your fingers someone else is judging you)
Love your brotherman
(Could you be, could you be, could you be loved?
Could you be, could you be loved?
Could you be, could you be, could you be loved?
Could you be, could you be loved?)
So while you point your fingers someone else is judging you)
Love your brotherman
(Could you be, could you be, could you be loved?
Could you be, could you be loved?
Could you be, could you be, could you be loved?
Could you be, could you be loved?)
Don't let them change ya, oh
Or even rearrange ya
Oh, no
We've got a life to live
They say: only, only
Only the fittest of the fittest shall survive
Stay alive
Eh
Or even rearrange ya
Oh, no
We've got a life to live
They say: only, only
Only the fittest of the fittest shall survive
Stay alive
Eh
Could you be loved and be loved?
Could you be loved, wo now! and be loved?
Could you be loved, wo now! and be loved?
(You ain't gonna miss your water until your well runs dry
No matter how you treat him, the man will never be satisfied)
Say something! (Could you be, could you be, could you be loved?
Could you be, could you be loved?)
Say something
Say something
(Could you be, could you be, could you be loved?)
No matter how you treat him, the man will never be satisfied)
Say something! (Could you be, could you be, could you be loved?
Could you be, could you be loved?)
Say something
Say something
(Could you be, could you be, could you be loved?)

GROUP 3
Just a small town girl
Livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train
Goin' anywhere
Just a city boy
Born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train
Goin' anywhere
A singer in a smokey room
The smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on, and on, and on
Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching
In the night
Streetlight people
Livin' just to find emotion
Hidin' somewhere in the night
Workin' hard to get my fill
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anything to roll the dice
Just one more time
Some will win
Some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on, and on, and on
Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching
In the night
Streetlight people
Livin' just to find emotion
Hidin' somewhere in the night
[Instrumental interlude]
Don't stop believin'
Hold on to that feelin'
Streetlight people
Don't stop believin'
Hold on
Streetlight people
Don't stop believin'
Hold on to that feelin'
Streetlight people

Esa negrita que va caminando
esa negrita tiene su tumbao
y cuando la gente la va mirando
ella baila de lao, va bien apretao
La negra tiene tumbao
y no camina de lao
Si quieres llegar derecho
mejor camina de frente
para que no haya tropiezos
y vengan y te lamentes
Si quieres llegar primero
mejor se corre despacio
disfruta bien de la vida
aunque tomando medidas
otra como ella yo nunca he encontrao
Ven aquí para poder compartir
porque eres tú la negra linda que me hace feliz
Otra no quiero
(eres tú la que me da inspiración)
sin ti me muero
(me hace falta aparte tu corazón)
Otra no quiero
(si no estás, siento desesperación)
sin ti me muero
English Translation (The girl walkin over there)
The girl has swag
and when they look at her
her dance is tight
The woman has swag
Ah Suga, Suga
and needs no one by her side
If you want to approach her
Best you go straight to her
so you don't trip
and get to her successfully
If you want to get there first
best you run cautiously
enjoy life
even though you don' take risks
Ah suga
The womans got swag
and needs no one by her side
When people die (oh my God )
they said she was great
great the way she loved life
like the night and the day
So when you approach me it is best you tell me the truth
I will not tolerate lies (haters)
Enjoy your life
even though you do not take risks
Ah Suga
The womans got swag
and needs no one by her side
(Male Rap)
The woman has swag
and needs no one by her side
Goddes of the night and sweet as a melon
I have never met a woman like you
Come here so I can compare you to others
because it is you my beautiful woman that makes me happy
I want no other
It is you who inspires me
without you I would die
I would miss you if you broke my heart
I do not want anyone else
without you I would feel desperate
If you left me
I would die without you
This girl has swag
the men are always persuing her path
The woman got swag
and NEVER needs to have anyone by her side

Unfortunately, I did not complete this assignment with my classmates, however, I did it at home and I was happy to share one of my favorite songs. Also, I am glad to see what songs my classmates are interested in. All very unique and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI did not attend this class, but I completed this assignment at home and chose the song "Rise Up" by Sandra Day because it's a song that helped me in rough times and now when I listen to it, it reminds me of everything I overcame.
